THE WALL

Kiss from the red leather,
Still burning my skin,
As I rise up again,
Amidst the thousand pupils

Hostile faces mocking me,
Waiting to see me abate,
I clench my teeth in agony,
Hiding the pain within

Deifying roar of thousands,
Die on my ears now,
And The blaze from the lights,
Don’t seem to hurt anymore

All I can see ahead,
Is a task I have to fulfill,
Standing before my destiny,
Is a regime of green men

Burden of a million hearts,
No longer weigh my shoulders,
As I shake away the haze,
And come to my senses again

Succeeding is no longer a option,
It just became a necessity,
Prayer’s from a million houses,
Giving strength to my heart

I am now the wall,
Which will never give away,
As I stand tall and proud,
Protecting a million hearts
